The Elko New Market, MN split-level rambler added a full upper and lower level custom residential addition designed to match existing floor heights, exterior architectural design, and the needs of a growing family. An additional bedroom and new Couple’s Suite keep the family together on the upper level. Family space was expanded on the main level with a new Family Entry and Family Room additions. Lower level office, storage, and entry space give dedicated rooms for work and hobbies while were giving back living space to the family. Direct access from the existing Garage resulted in coordination of 5 different floor levels and custom structural elements. The addition was designed and drafted by in-house architect Matt Dolan RA NCARB CPHC.

Tom and his team were awesome to work with! They helped design our addition and built it just as we planned. Throughout the building process Tom was always onsite and on top of everything going on. Communication was great, build was done timely, and costs were exactly as we planned. We originally had some trouble finding a contractor who would take on our project but Tom and his team were happy to do so! They were friendly, reliable, and honest. The scope of construction for ACE Design Build was limited to exterior shell, windows, siding, and interior framing. The reduced construction scope helped the project costs align with the owners budget. The Owner, a commercial construction manager, completed the interior finish, electrical, and mechanical project work. . Construction was managed by Tom Wilmes CPHB and Owner of ACE Design Build.
